Character:　鑢　七実 (Yasuri Nanami)

The Yasuri family, born as swords(literally) men who practise the Kyotou-ryuu. Despite having the Yasuri name, Nanami was never brought up or trained to be a katana. Her health and body is too weak to withstand the training. However, her ability lies in her eyes that sees, remembers and duplicates battle styles. ...As for the rest, go read the novel or watch the anime

*sigh* I just finished watching this month's episode >< I fell in love with Nanami since episode 4, spoiled myself (=_=　) and decided to just go read her story in the 7th novel. >________< SO SAD!!! urgh. There really was no hope nor future for her. And her wish to Shichika was so sad oTL

*sigh* I have this thing for pitiful characters =_=

Anyway, this shoot was done at Cure's Studio event last month. They had a Japanese room which I thought I could make use of for this Nanami image, but since the episode has not aired I only had the short preview to rely on for costume parts & colour references.

After viewing the episode I realised my colour was a bit off orz;;; *tears hair out* If I ever get a Shichika and Togame to redo this episode, I will make improvements!! D<
Can't wait to do Nanami's original image too!!! >_< All I need now are location and photographers... orz

I owe so much to her for helping me shoot Nanami in her warm Robin outfit >///< We had the room lights on and such but somehow the pictures just didn't have the mood, thus unfortunately rendering many shots unusable >< Then we tried turning off the lights and voila! Natural light (although dim) gave us the best shots from this set ><

I just watched episode 4 and I fell in love with her also!!! I have to know, what color did u use for the wig? I'm having a hard time choosing between really dark blue because the teal just doesn't seem to match up for me... I want to cosplay her in October.
